I’m sure many of you have been following news on the protests in Egypt. Although Egyptians still struggle to fight for their rights and freedom, no one can stop them from being creative and funny! Let’s just see some of the creative things created by the Egyptians:
This is my personal favorite! Anything has an expiry date. So does Mubarak. This sign showed that Mubarak’s expiry date was set to 25 January 2011, the day when the revolt started. Very creative!

Another creative placard is this cartoon! It can be shown in this cartoon that Mubarak and his people are fighting to take Egypt (illustrated as the bride). He wants to take Egypt into the "National Democratic Jail" (as opposed to "National Democratic Party", the Egypt’s ruling party). This is also my favorite!

Social networks, which become the main tool used by the protesters, can be seen in different placards: (photos were taken from here, here, and here)
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is such a big deal during the protests. Egyptian State TV spreads propaganda, blaming foreign interference for the chaos in Egypt. The State TV also spreads lies that the protesters in Tahrir Square have been fed with the KFC. LOL!!! (I’ll tell you what: if you want to lie, don’t be so obvious, okay?!) The two pictures below showed how annoyed the protesters were with the lies spread by the Egyptian media. The placard held by the man on the right hand side in the left picture reads: "Kentucky [KFC] is closed, stupid!". The picture on the right showed the revolution KFC!
As if that’s not enough, Ahmad Abdalla posted this hilarious picture of police forces eating KFC! Hahahaha! What a GREAT timing!!!
It seems that Mubarak has forgotten that Saudi Arabia has been waiting for him! (Ben Ali too has been waiting for him in Jeddah! What a poor guy
) So this young protester tried to remind Mubarak by showing the sign: "I swear to God, I’m late, Mubarak!"

Maybe Mubarak doesn’t speak the same language, after all this time! (It’s been two weeks already for God sake!)
Oh, wait a minute! Here’s the translation! Itla3 barrah ya Mubarak! (meaning: Go out, Mubarak!) was written in different languages.

Or perhaps, if street protests are not enough, why don’t we take it to the sea?!
These photos were taken in the Red Sea. The sign in the left picture reads: "The fish demands the collapse of the regime" and the sign in the right picture reads: "Leave before we run out of oxygen/air." LOL! These two are my most favorite pictures for sure!!!
One thing that can’t be missed is definitely the "revolution song". This is the song sang on the 4th of February, the so-called "Day of Departure". The song is very simple and its lyrics are taken from the chants or slogans that have been shouted throughout the protests, for example: irhal (leave), yasqut Mubarak (down with Mubarak), el-sha3b youreed esqat el-nizham (the people want the collapse of the regime), and 7owa yemshi, mosh 7a yemshi (he’ll leave, we won’t leave).
Different kind of approaches have been done by the protesters to demand the regime to go. Yet, Mubarak still doesn’t understand it *sigh*. What a stubborn dictator! Maybe it’s time to SHIFT + DEL Mubarak.

So, still no clue, Mubarak?!

What’s your email address? Or, you can just email me first, since I’ve submitted my email every time I leave a comment here ahaha

Wait, are you coming to the Big Durian or another city in Indoland?
….and duuude, I do not (bold and underlined, if I only knew how to) have 3 weeks worth of leave! Only 12 days in Indoland my dear, nowhere near the 30-40 days in Europe! Anyways, what’s your email address? Or maybe you can email me first, since I leave my email every time I write a comment here :p
whooops.. apologies for the double comment! *looking for the delete button*
asti: I’ll be in Jakarta first before going to another city probably. It’s really hard to get a permission from my parents. Don’t know why they’re very skeptical about me living in other Indo city… considering that I’ve lived in foreign countries most of my life -__-
okay!!
will email you soon! *lagi dikejar deadline* hehehe
