Hiatus
Sorry guys, I won’t be able to update this blog for the next few weeks. I’m busy… I’m struggling to manage my time. I’m also having a lack of motivation… sigh. I got few problems here and there. But hopefully everything will be sorted out soon.
I’ve just been accepted to be involved in one of AIESEC regional teams, Media Taskforce! Yay! For the past few months, I’ve only worked with the team at LC UQ (the lowest level). My role is to promote AIESEC around UQ campus. And now I’m stepping up to the regional Queensland level
. The aim of Media Taskforce is to promote AIESEC to the external environment (i.e. outside of campus) and involve communications with corporate and government partners. I haven’t started working on it yet, but I’m expected to be busy with new tasks soon
. I’m quite excited with the opportunities and experiences I’ll gain from this team…
Upcoming tasks / events this month:
- Sunday, 16 September - Student Review Board (SRB) and Media Taskforce meeting.
I’m applying for an internship with AIESEC next year, so I hope that I’ll pass this SRB. SRB is a panel interview which usually involves a psychologist, a corporate, and an AIESEC alumnus. It’s a bit scary
. Hopefully I’ll pass the interview… insya Allah. Wish me luck!! After the interview, I have to go to the Media Taskforce meeting… very busy day, indeed. - Monday, 17 September - German exam! I don’t know if I have time to study for this subject, sigh.
- Friday, 21 September - assignment due!!!
. Classes end today coz we’re going to have a mid-semester break!!! YAY! - Saturday, 22 September - Camping and hiking @ Mt Warning with my fellow AIESEC friends. The good thing is that, we’re going to hike at night — during sahur time. So I can still fast while on camping hehehe. I’m sure it’ll be fun! More details later…
- 24 - 28 September (Mid semester break) - Coding, coding, and coding in the computer lab. My goal is to finish coding by the end of the break. I also have to release a “supposedly monthly” AIESEC newsletter at the end of September and catch up with my “forgotten” friends
.
I know this is quite late. But I just want to say Happy Ramadhan to all Moslems around the world
. See you in few weeks! ![]()
