Excited

@ 6:46 pm | 10 comments

These few weeks were quite hectic — but not as hectic as I expected :P . My life at the university seems more exciting compared to the previous two years. Most of my IT friends are very enthusiastic and excited about everything: the project, assignment, AND graduation! And that makes me excited too… I enjoy every single thing I do — loving IT so much now hahaha — and I’m VERY VERY happy! I do sometimes feel a bit stressed because of the pressures and deadlines, but so far I can still handle it :) . I can’t believe that time passes so fast! We only have about 5 weeks left before the revision week and final exam start. Oh it’s so scary.

The final IT project seems to run quite smooth and steady. The lecturer grouped us into teams of 7 people few weeks ago. And I’m sooooo glad that I have the opportunity to work with wonderful and hardworking people!! My group consists of three girls and four guys; two Indonesians, three Singaporeans, and two Australians. Multicultural group ;) . I get along with all of them, which is very good (It’s a one year project!). They’re so nice, supportive, and the most important thing is that: they are very enthusiastic :) and know what they’re doing. Through this project, I want to do more programming/coding, interface and database design. I definitely don’t want to do documentation. No freakin way. Ah, I enjoy the whole thing!!

I invited my fellow AIESEC friends to my apartment last week. We call ourselves OCC team (officially) and The Simz (unofficially). We wanted to have a casual meeting + fun at the same time. Cindy, our team leader, suggested to have a BBQ. Since there’s a BBQ grill in my apartment’s complex, I invited them over to my place. But then I thought, having a BBQ’s gonna be very messy, so we decided to order pizza instead. We chatted, ate pizza, drank Coke (water — for me :D ), played games, and had a serious meeting. I had a great time :) , though I was so tired.

I think it’s quite annoying to be a final year student. Yes, I do enjoy everything that I do here, but at the same time I sort of want to finish my degree as soon as possible! I’ve been dreaming about my future quite a lot lately. I’ve been thinking about the list of stuffs I have to do right after I graduate, before I leave Australia for good, once I arrive in Jakarta, and so on. I love to think about every plans in advance, but I’m also scared if — for some reasons — I can’t graduate this year, I’d be very disappointed. Hfff… I don’t want to dream too far.

Yes, this post is a total junk.

P.S. If you have a Twitter account, pls add me here.

dream and fight for it, Mel..

even Che Guevera started his remarkable fight from a simple dream; no oppress for the poor in the South.

rethar: I do.. and I always do :)

    BARRY: yap! That’s exactly true.

ctrlz: Ya, I always love to see a good side of life, as opposed to the bad side. I try to get rid of those bad sides from my mind hehe.. so in the end, I only remember the happy part! :D

Iya si, sayang bgt gw gak mau tinggal disini. Tapi that’s what i want… I want to be able to explore the world and see how beautiful life is before i’m “attached” to someone else hehehe. I don’t want to be stucked here all the time :P .

Dessy: Thanks :) you too yah… keep working hard!! I’ll see you in NZ in two months!!! Oh can’t wait.

bodhi, mBu, Anang, ina: terimakasih :)

debukaki: Yap, I’ll try to do my best… can’t wait for that tiramisu hahaha…
