Alright, alright… don’t freak out. Welcome to my newly designed website! To be honest with you, the design is not that new. I first published the layout in August. I used it for my Typo blog for the purpose of learning more about Rails application and Typo itself, until I gave up a month later. It’s not easy running a blog using Typo. Especially when you want to display/add some features inside Typo (like plugins in Wordpress). I think I need to fully understand how Rails works first before I can get into a deeper “coding environment”. Then one day, if I’m comfortable enough with Ruby, Rails, and Typo, I’ll definitely move my blog out of Wordpress! 
Wordpress is a very user-friendly and easy blog tool. I’ve been using it offline (localhost) for years. So I’m quite confident with how it works & PHP. Basically, I can do whatever I like! I try to not use plugins that are so easy to implement, because they made me so lazy to type even 1 line of code! 
I’d made my own instead. But of course, I still prefer to download some of not-so-easy-plugins, coz I’m just too lazy to even think about how to make it!!
Anyway, my previous blog will be removed anytime soon. So please update your bookmark :). Any comments, questions, or suggestions about the design???
Family update.
My mom is now in Egypt!! Can’t believe that she’s doing it! Hehe. The thing is, my mom rarely travels without my dad ever since they married. I was surprised when she told me that she travelled alone from Saudi Arabia to Egypt. She planned to go there with Tante Fathin, but unfortunately Tante Fathin was not able to come with her because of health reason. And now here she is in Cairo, a city where she lived for 11 years. You have no idea how jealous I am! (Maaaa… I want to comeeee.. *grow up, Mel!*). She was so excited when she called me the other day. She said that she might come back to Cairo again with my dad, sister, and brother for Eid-ul-Fitr!!! (Was I forgotten? I guess so. LOL) She was so happy although she said Cairo is sooooo dirty (ok, I don’t think I should go there :P). She is staying with my auntie (her sister) & the family who have lived there for years (20 or 30 years?).
How’s everyone’s first day of fasting? Great?? Mbak Ina texted me last night that Ramadhan will start on Monday instead of Sunday. I want KOLAK PISANG!! hahaha…

huaa..senangnya yang punya domain sendiri..ih, mel aku ngiri deh jd pgn belajar IT juga..hehe..soalnya ide layout&design sih banyak, cm utk direalisasiinnya susah ya kl ga ada basic IT..btw, design website mu bagus bgt mel..eh, diriku jg udah ku link nih..oia, yg plg aku suka dari website skrg krn lbh informatif..apalagi di ‘about’nya..aku jd lbh tahu the real you..:)
makin cantik aja blognya Mel…jadi ini toh yang dulu pernah dibilangin itu?
btw, besok ada dirumah gak? aku gak pernah bikin kolak tapi ada yg bisa dikirim ke Taringa kok…:))

senaz: hmm belajar IT tu belom tentu diajarin webdesign. Justru di universitas saya, gak diajarin sama skali (krn ada jurusan tersendiri). Jadi ini semua sebenarnya otodidak aja si mbak..
ina: hehe.. apaan tu? Besok aku kerja ampe sore.. jangan ngerepotin mbak!!
