21st Birthday

Today is my birthday . I’m 21 already! I’m so old.. sigh. I never treat my birthday as my special and big day, so everything went just like a usual day. Unfortunately today I felt so tired, very sleepy, and lazy hahaha. I really had no energy . Maybe because I was fasting and forgot to take a supplement.

I came home slightly after 6pm. I went to my room straight away, wanting to sleep. But then suddenly, Mayu asked me to come to the living room. There was a cake with candles! Jenny, Mayu, and Tammy sang “happy bday”. Hoaa.. surprise again.. I was amazed that Tammy was there too (Jenny and Mayu are my housemates). It was great! I got a present from them: a book titled Burned Alive: A Victim of the Law of Men. I was (and I’m still now) so happy. I told them not to buy me anything. But a couple of days ago Mayu asked me about the books I wanted to borrow next. I kept telling her “I don’t know”, but she insisted me to answer the question, saying that she’d like to borrow them too. I wondered: since when Mayu is interested on borrowing these books?? Hehehe. I was suspicious. But at the end, I gave up -after long looonggg debate- and told her the list of books I wanted to buy/borrow (I shouldn’t tell her that!!). Unfortunately, Burned Alive was out of stock at most major bookstores in Brisbane. So it was quite hard to find it. Whoaaa.. I feel sorry for them. But thank you so much guys, I really had a great time!

I also got many birthday wishes from my friends, ranging from elementary school to Uni friends. I got a number of text messages from my close friends in Indonesia, MANY Friendster’s testimonials, emails, and e-cards. Thanks to Fau, Nupe, Iink, Kiki, Anne, Dini, Aghi, Omar, Shrikesh, Omponx, Abz, Edvan, Iren, Hala, Loretta, Lydia, Yusna, Ochenk, Ido, Nisma, Nadra, Balqis, Justine, Stephanie, Mika, Chris, the ‘other’ Chris, and my family for sure!!! I’m soo happy!! Love y’all!
