I feel so sorry for all Lebanese people. Everything that I see on TV breaks my heart. It angers me that no one, even that stupid Bush, could stop the war. And I’m not happy that Arabic countries do practically “nothing” in this situation. I want to scream, but I don’t know to whom I’m supposed to scream at. I have to admit that Lebanon is one of my favourite countries in the Middle East. I really want to visit this country once more. I visited Lebanon when I was about 14 years old but I remember that Beirut was completely a disaster (as a result of 15 years of war). So I had a plan that one day I’ll visit Beirut again. But oh well.. it seems that I have to wait til the war ends and the country builds up again.
Let’s get to a deeper problem. At first, I tried to be neutral; I blamed both Hezbollah and Israel. I did not even want to talk and argue about it. Anyway, I’m not an expert on this, but based on what I read on news is that Hezbollah first kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers. That made Israel very angry. But on the other side, Israeli governments were out of their minds. They killed civilians and broke Lebanese infrastructures (airport was the first target). But not until the (second) Qana massacre I realized that Israel is indeed a true terrorist!! (Yes it was the second one. The first one occured in 1996).
I believe that Israeli governments want something from Lebanon. It’s not because of their soldiers being kidnapped by Hezbollah! For God sake, Israel allegedly kidnapped many Lebanese people!!! They also occupied [part of] Southern Lebanon for 20 years!!! They killed thousands of civilians! They accuse Hezbollah as a terrorist group, but heyyyyy… can’t Israel see themselves??? Mirror, pleaaaaaaaaaaase! Hfff.. in fact, Hezbollah was formed as a result of years of Israeli occupation in Lebanon! They protect the country from Israel!!
There was a rumour (I don’t know if you ever heard it or not) when I went back to Saudi Arabia last year. My mom told me that it was actually Israel who killed / ordered to kill former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri who is loved by Lebanese people. I did not take it seriously at that time, because it’s just a rumour. I didn’t know where she heard it. But as the war continues cruelly, I believe that it’s possible that the rumour’s true. I’m not saying it’s 100% true. But there’s a possibility here. Well, look! After Hariri was assasinated, the US was so busy convincing the world and the Lebanese people that Syria was responsible for this action. Everyone believed it, a huge demonstration took over, the anti-Syria reaction was formed, and as a result, Syrian troops pulled out of Lebanon. What did Syrians do in Lebanon?? Again, they helped Lebanon protecting their border from Israel. As Syrian troops left the country, Lebanon became less secured. Israel could easily attack Lebanon or perhaps occupy its land once again. Well, this story seems a bit odd, but there’s a connection here!
Or perhaps, this is another way of US wanting to attack other Arab countries. Instead of using the name United States as a country that attacks Lebanon, it might be a good idea to use Israel as the main attacker! But hey.. it’s in the same group! So why in the world did Bush refuse to call for ceasefire?? Oh well, he actually does call for ceasefire, but it happened after hundreds of Lebanese civilians were killed and days of bloody war! He said, “Syria must end its support for terror and respect the sovereignty of Lebanon.” Well, the US must end its support to Israel too!!
I don’t understand why Bush is so irritated with Syria and Iran. He and the world are so busy arguing about Iran’s nuclear weapons program, but he doesn’t bother doing that to North Korea!!! (they have nuclear weapons too) Well what would he expect with North Korea?? They have nothing, they’re poor, and most importantly they don’t have oil! But Iran is rich for oil, just like Iraq and Afghanistan. Attacking Hezbollah means destroying “part of” Iran and Syria. That’s only the first step.. a sort of introduction. The next plan is to attack Iran itself…!
Sigh.. probably I wrote things that are not true. I don’t want you to believe, honestly. This post is a result of my anger over Israel and my deep sorrow for Lebanese people. I understand that I write it without any evidence, but I love discussing about possibilities when it comes to politics [since I know that politics is too complicated, full of lies, and full of cover ups].
We all want a peace, right?? My anger over Israel and US doesn’t include of me being irritated with their people!! I have both American and Jewish friends. And we still remain as friends. They’re nice to me, I’m also nice to them. But what I truly hate is that there are some people who are stupidly attack the Americans, Jews, Moslems, Christians, etc, although they’re innocent people. Those attackers don’t give a damn whether they’re innocent or not. As long as they’re “belong” to that specific group, they’re practically seen as evil. If that’s the case, how can we achieve peace??
Let’s hope for a better solution on both sides and peace in the Middle East!

Kapan perang berakhir ya?
amin..
gak sopan emang tuh negara…..
