one more to go!

• I had my 2nd exam today - early in the morning, at 8am! I took a train to Toowong and a bus to UQ (no bus that goes straight from my house to UQ before 7.30am). So I had to take a 6.51am train. Sooo… inconvenient! Brisbane’s transportation system sometimes sucks; especially on the weekends. My poor housemate Mayu got an exam on Saturday at 8am! There was not even a single bus services to UQ before 7.45am!! Can u imagine that?? Not even from Toowong and Indooroopilly! That’s crazy… So she had to take a train to Toowong and a citycat to UQ. Oh but, brisbane’s transportation system is MUCH better than Jakarta’s! That’s for sure!!
• Now.. about my 2nd exam, the one that I’ve just taken. It was the best exam I’ve ever had this semester!! I’m soooo happy :D. The course, CSSE2002 is one of my fave subject (Java Programming). The questions were so tricky though.. it took me longer time to figure it out. Plus, there was not enough time. I could answer all the questions, but I had no chance to recheck my paper. There was one question about implementing a code using a Map which has never been taught. Thank God my brain was soo bright that morning hahaha… although I had to read the question over and over again. It’s just about taking all the keys and values of the Map objects and adding them to the Vector/Set… Certainly Java is much better than C!
• I went to the City after my exam finished. I went shopping and bought some gifts for my friends and family back in Jakarta. It was not fun at all, to be honest. I had no freakin idea what things I should buy for them. Somehow I feel I’m too ignorant, that I don’t even know (or perhaps forget) their favourite things. So for me, it’s much safer just to ask them what they really want. I don’t have to be worry whether they like it or not, but certainly it’s not a surprise at all…
• My last paper/exam is on the 24th (unfortunately, the last day of UQ’s exam!!!). It’s COMP2303 I don’t want to expect too much for this upcoming exam. It’s a very hard course. Everyone’s sooo worried whether they could pass this course or not, including me. Ganbatte!!! I’m going home in 4 days!!!! yayyy…
• Oops.. the very last thing.. I’ve been a frequent visitor of Karen Cheng’s blog for as long as I could remember. Her stories are sometimes funny, simple, and easy to understand (don’t expect her writing about politics haha). I love all the graphics published on her site! They’re all inspiring.
