Installing Apache – PHP – MySQL

@ 8:51 am | 1 comment

A few days ago, I had a very painful moment installing Apache, PHP, and MySQL in my computer. I tried to look at the documentations at both PHP and MySQL but none of them gave me clear explanations!! I didn’t know, was I that stupid? Or maybe I wasn’t really careful reading them… Oh well, forget about the past. Now those 3 programs have been installed in my computer!

I found this link through google. It explains step by step how to install these 3 programs (in fact, 4 programs – if you want to install phpMyAdmin). This article was so helpful. Although I’m sure that not every computer responds the same thing as what it says there. I got a couple of error messages. I guess, that’s because I’ve installed PHP in my computer previously, but using IIS as a server. And thank God I know what I’m doing. I changed the port used in IIS (which was previously port 80 – coz this port will be used by Apache later). And all of them are working fine…
