counting down to Jeddah!

2 more months, guys! 2 more months!! Waa.. can’t believe how fast the time runs. I wanna go homeeee!! I want to relax! I don’t want these bloody assignments!! ahhh… i wish i had a choice..

Next week is gonna be our mid semester break. Yeah, right it’s a break!! But not for me!!! I have 5 assignments to do:

• CSSE1000 - about the processor or microcontroller or whatever the name is. From the very beginning, I have a difficult time understanding this course. Hardware is not what I want to do. I’m lost!! I don’t know what I’m gonna do with it.. the bad thing about this assignment is: every student gets different type of microcontroller!! I’m not saying that I’d ask for answers, I just want a hint working with this assignment!!
• COMP1800 (Team Project) - I’m still working on the design.. I hope I’ll be able to finish it in one day, and move on to the construction of a database for our website. Since I enjoy doing this project, I have no problems working on this
• COMP1800 (English Essay) - you may wonder, what in the world does the essay have to do with IT??? Oh well, it’s part of the course. It’s a good thing, though. The lecturer told us that most of IT proffesionals have problems with writing ability (esp. grammar): working with formal reports, etc. I actually hate writing (i mean, formal one!). It took me an entire week to write 1000 words essay report back in IES! Can you imagine that?? Not to mention the amount of weeks I spent for finding sources and researching. I’m so slow at writing. But i hope I could go through this assignment. One thing that worries me a lot is that the essay must be ERROR-FREE! Even Australians still struggle with it! Oh well…
• MATH1051 - Calculus again.. the lecturer gives us assignments once a week. So this is like my “casual” work. It just makes me crazy all the time. Mayuko knows that well.. hehe
• INFS2200 - A group assignment. I’ll work with Daniel, Aaron, Chris, and Jerry. All of them are so nice, have the will to learn and study (yeah not like most guys i know.. they just sort of play, play, and play!), and responsible too. I look forward working w/ ‘em..

I’ll probably go to the travel agency tomorrow to book a flight ticket. Since there’s no direct flight from Brisbane to Jeddah, I’m planning to stay in KL for a week. So I’ll fly by Malaysian Airlines this time (instead of S’pore). I have a bunch of ppl I want to meet over there: Anne (we’ll meet in Jeddah again, but we’re gonna meet there as well hehehe), Nasser, Sarah, Labib, Japra, Nadia. This is gonna be a budget trip hehe.. so I’ll probably stay in Anne’s or Jocelyn’s house… will see how it goes.
