If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for everything
I’ve just finished my first exam today: INFS1200 – which is my least fave subject. The subject is actually not that hard, BUT it’s not interesting at all. Well, I like SQL and those sort of stuff, but making/designing DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and ER (Entity Relationship) are not really my thing. I thought database is just about SQL, Access or Oracle… but it’s actually more complicated than that. Anyway, the exam was quite good, I could answer most of the questions, including DFD and ER. I expected to be harder than that! I hope I could get a good mark (Remember, I should pass the exam in order to pass the subject).
Brisbane is getting colder and colder… It was soooooooo freezing this morning. I checked yahoo weather forecast and today is as low as 5 degrees celcius. Brrrr….
Jenny and I went to the Altitude Apartments in Taringa two days ago. We just love the place!! There’s a swimming pool, gym, BBQ area… And it’s really secured. We have to pay the bond first to confirm our reservation. Hopefully everything is well-organized so we could sign our contract as soon as possible. The apartment will be available starting from 11th of July. But Jenny and I will not move in til the end of July or (probably) the beginning of August. Mayuko and her mom will stay in that unit first. Once her mom goes back to Japan, Jenny and I will start move in to our new apartment. So I’m gonna live with 2 people next semester.. It’ll be fun! hehe..
I’ll have CSSE1001 (intro to software engineering) exam tomorrow… Wish me luck!!
